Porto Tour with Luís

Meet Luís, a passionate university student in Porto studying videogame design with a background in light and sound design. He's a true Tripeiro, which is the term for people born in Porto. With a love for the arts and creativity, Luís is constantly immersed in the world of design and storytelling.

Living in Porto has allowed Luís to explore the city's history, uncovering its hidden gems and shortcuts, a skill he learned from childhood walks with his father and now shares with his friends. Like any proud Portuguese, Luís finds joy in life's simple pleasures and is always on the lookout for new culinary experiences. From traditional Portuguese dishes to international cuisines, he knows all the best places to eat in Porto.

In addition to his love for food, Luís enjoys exploring the city's party scene and is well-versed in all the best places to have a good time, including the palaces where the nightlife comes alive. Whether it's discovering new gaming techniques or finding the perfect spot for a delicious meal, Luís is always up for an adventure.

Come with Luís on a tour through Porto and be ready to make your first Portuguese friend.

In the morning we will take a walk through Vitória neighborhood, outside the traditional tourist routes where one breathes the true soul of Porto. We will begin this tour in front of the University of Porto, key spot where academic festivities and the typical celebrations of the city such as S. João take place.

Here you will have the opportunity to get to see some of the most emblematic monuments, such as Lello Bookshop and Clérigos Tower, while enjoying the most beautiful views of Porto, accompanied by our local guide who will present you the corners, streets, and people in the most authentic possible way.

Already in Porto downtown, you will be able to visit the centenary Aliados main avenue, a place that has been accommodating various political demonstrations, football celebrations and New Year concerts until these days.

Here we will show you other incredible relics, such as the beautiful S. Bento train station decorated by its twenty thousand tiles, the exquisite Majestic café adorned with carved wood and Art Nouveau elements, and one of Portugal’s oldest monuments, the fabulous Porto Cathedral.
