Douro Wine & Prehistoric rock art
Visit the famous World Heritage rock art engravings in Foz Côa.
The day starts at 8.00 am, when we pick you up. After a 2h15 trip, we will arrive at our destination, the Foz Côa Museum. Here, through a guided tour, we will learn about the Côa Valley, what made it unique for the first Homo sapiens and the traces they left behind.
After the Museum, lunch will follow. The Museum’s restaurant is renowned for its typical regional cuisine, great selection of wines, and magnificent views. The local products are the stars of the menu, where you can also find some delicacies among the top selections.
After lunch, we will go on a 4x4 vehicle to the Rock Art sites. Currently, three sites are open to the public - Canada do Inferno, Penascosa, and Ribeira de Piscos. The selection of the rock art site to visit is up to the Museum, depending on availability and lighting conditions. An official guide will accompany you - only with them can you visit these protected locations.
After the visit to the rock engravings, we will head back. The return trip will take approximately 2h15, where you will enjoy a relaxed and calm trip in the comfort of the Tesla.

08h00 - Pick-up at Porto’s meeting point
10h30 - Arrival at the Côa Museum. Guided Tour of the museum.
12h30 - Lunch at the Museu’s Restaurant. Wine and Regional Products tasting.
14h30 - Visit a Rock art Site.
17h00 - Departure towards Porto
19h30 - Arrival back to Porto’s meeting point
