The day starts when we pick you up. After a 1h45 trip, we will arrive at our first destination: The village of Casal de Loivos. Here we will tour an old olive oil mill turned into a museum, which will allow us to learn and understand a bit more about this very important product of the region. This visit ends with a tasting of 3 table wines, olive oil, almonds, and honey.

After the tasting, we will descend to the village of Pinhão, where we will visit the train station, an ex libris of the region, decorated with 24 tile panels depicting the history and traditions of the Douro Valley. We will follow up this visit with an upstream 1h boat cruise, that allows us to have a better perspective of the great producers located in this area.

  • Picnic at Quinta do Tedo

    Quinta do Tedo is located at an iconic location of the Douro Valley, between the Douro and Tedo rivers. Owned by the Bouchards since 1992, they devoted their lives to producing some of the best Portos of the entire Valley, and nurturing a very passionate relationship with the land.

  • Bistro Terrace & Quinta do Tedo

    The Bistro Terrace is the small restaurant of Quinta do Tedo. We like to say that “big things come in small packages” and this is true in this instance: intimate room with a high quality of the restaurant, always focused on traditional flavors with a modern twist.

  • Cantina & Quinta de Ventozelo

    Quinta de Ventozelo, the Crown Jewel of the Gran Cruz Corporation. Lunch will be served here. Their “Farm to Fork” concept was considered in 2021 by National Geographic as one of the 3 best Gastronomical experiences in the world. Lunch will be paired with 4 wines of the Estate.
