Douro Valley Essentials
A scenic experience created for conscious travellers
The day starts when we pick you up. After a 1h trip, we will arrive at our first milestone: the village of Cumieira. Here we will visit the HO Winery, learn about the table wines and Porto wines, and do a tasting of their amazing wines.
From there, we will descend the N2 road and then take the N222 Road - considered by AVIS in 2015 as the most beautiful road in the world. This is a great way to relax and build up some appetite for the upcoming lunch.
Lunch will be served at Quinta de Ventozelo. Their gastronomic experiences was considered by National Geographic in late 2021 as one of the top 3 Farm to Table experiences in the world!
After lunch, a brief tour of the estate will follow.
Finally, we will depart the estate, this time through Pinhão and using the N323 road, with plenty of fabulous viewpoints and our final photo opportunities for the day!
