This experience is dedicated to wine lovers wanting to learn and taste Porto wines from a different perspective: family-owned boutique vineyards.
The First – Quinta da Côrte
The first vineyard we will visit is Quinta da Côrte. Part of the Austruy properties, it is the only vineyard this family owns in Portugal. It was purchased in 2012 by Philippe Austruy, but this historical venue has produced grapes for big brands such as Croft, Taylor’s, and Ramos Pinto.
The Second – Wine-paired lunch
The next stop will be at Quinta de Ventozelo, an estate dating back to Roman times and was a small villages in the 17th and 18th centuries. Their restaurant - Cantina de Ventozelo - was awarded in late 2021 by National Geographic one of the top 3 gastronomic experiences in the world, with their Farm-to-table concept. Lunch will be a relaxing and soothing gastronomical experience, followed by a tour of the estate and wine tasting.
The Third – Seara D’Ordens
At last, we will visit Quinta Seara D’Ordens. Before leaving the Douro Valley, we will see these 3rd generation winemakers. The quality of their wines is only rivalled by the mountain views from this location.
